Orange spider with black diamond in the back – what is it?

Last night on our back porch we have a rather large spider orange with black diamond in the back. I looked at some websites and can not find a photo. We live in central Ohio, if that helps any. I wonder what is and whether to alarm. Thanks!

What sounds like an Orb Weaver, probably a marble Orb Weaver (Araneus marmoreus). You do not have to worry about them.
